The agenda for the 1st commission meeting of the new year is up on the city website, I was looking through it and noticed something VERY interesting. Take a look at it for yourself, go to Welcome To Augusta Georgia and change to meeting type to Commission meeting and click go, then download the PDF of the agenda and scroll down to page 8 and 9. It's a new study about transforming Augusta into a tourist destination of the south within 2 years. Take a look, it's good stuff!

Outdoor Augusta. Pages 5-8... This will truly transfrom Augusta.

''There is no other area in the Southeast that can offer swimming, boating, fishing, wildlife viewing, hiking, whitewater kayaking, and camping among major spots of national historic importance only a mile away from a thriving business and entertainment district''.

This is definitley going to happen. Scott Hudson and Anthony Esposito are doing wonderful things in Augusta. The commission listens everytime. Both come up with cheap and easy ways to make Augusta so much better.
