its a very nice area. Fairly wealthy (most residents are "upper middle class" or higher), good public schools & private schools, nice neighborhoods, low crime. The only problem is Augusta (I mean Augusta, Martinez, Evans) is growing to fast for its own good and traffic is always terrible and everywhere is crowded.

Evans is growing but Augusta is not..
Evans would actually be a very nice place to live it was a suburb of a another city.
And just to get things straight, Evans is not a town. It's unincorporated.. and there is no "downtown" or mainstreet so to speak.. unless you count Wal-mart super center and Lowes as a "downtown."
The Evans area is pretty similar to middle class suburban areas you'll find in north metro Atlanta.. Evans has finally started to attract some decent restaurants and retail.. because it has mainly just been a residential area with not much to do. It's seems like a fine place for families.. but may be boring for a young single professional.
