Be careful down there. There are some very dangerous areas down there. Due to crime in the area, the Golf Gardens closed and Fort Discovery is closing. The only safe area downtown is artist row.

That is absolutely NOT true. The reason why Fort Discovery is closing is because it's parent company (The National Science Center) is focusing their companies efforts in a new direction of in-school education. The reason why the Golf & Gardens closed is because of severe budget cuts from the state. Neither one of these places closed because of crime problems. Give me a break!

When the Tee Center and Hyatt hotel start construction in June and August of this year. I expect to see more gyms come downtown in the future. Many people like yourself are already moving downtown. I know of two gyms on broad street. One is located next to Broad Street Market. The gym opened in October 2009 and I don't know the name. The other gym on broad street is Health Central. There are probably more that Im unaware of.

Not to mention Fort Discovery is moving to Ft. Gordon. Atleast give some realistic criticisms.

Here are the gyms websites.

Ivan's Fitness Gallery | Facebook

Health Central Corporate Wellness
