There always seems to be a myriad of options for Mother's Day, but I always have trouble finding a place for my husband. The Four Season's Cafe is booked. I couldn't find a table for 10. I thought about Green Pastures, but we'll have several little ones who might not appreciate the food as much. Then I considered the tried and true Moonshines, but the wait is horrendous, and they don't take reservations.

I'm not a big fan of Iron Cactus, but I've been hearing a lot about their Sunday Brunch lately. I made reservations for tomorrow, but it's tentative in my books.

Does anyone know of any other children friendly, reservation-taking, yummy Sunday brunch??? I am in panic mode!! Thanks!!!

I would try the brunch at Nomad's.
Traveling Bistro Sunday Brunch at NOMAD BAR in Austin, Tx
Yes, at a bar. BUT. I have taken my kids there a few times and its totally fine. Very worthwhile and DELICIOUS.

Take him to the Magnolia Cafe and feed him The La Zapata. When he gets back in the car, turn the AC up, and give him a blanket. When you get home, fix him his favorite meal, park him on the couch, enjoy your in-laws and he'll be no problem. When he awakes from his happy slumber, feed him leftovers, ask him to shower, and mutually go to bed. He will have enjoyed the ride to LAB/Mopac or S. Congress/Mary Street.

He'll kiss you on Monday.

I didn't get to these responses in time, so we ended up at (blech) Iron Cactus. Never again. I should've stuck with my first instinct and went to Moonshine. Oh well.

But thank you guys for the input! I'll file your suggestions away for next year!
