There will be fireworks. My guess is that they aren't advertising it on the Round Rock Express website because the fireworks will be paid for by the city for the Frontier Days Celebration at Old Settlers Park adjacent to Dell Diamond.

The fire works aren't at the DD. They are at Old Settlers Park. We will be finding somewhere other than the park to sit. Last year my husband and kid spent 30 minutes watching the fireworks and 3 hours to get out of the parking lot.

Last year we watched them from a parking lot not far away and it kinda sucked. I'm thinking of trying the Georgetown fireworks this year. Any tips on that venue?

The Express will have their own fireworks show after the game - only difference between it and a typical Friday night game is they'll play patriotic music instead. The City of Round Rock fireworks will go off during the game, typically out past left-center field.

***Edit - and it is on the website... click the * signifying promotions on that day in the schedule.

Cool. So I guess people that attend the game or just hang out near Dell Diamond will see two fireworks shows. Not a bad deal.

Yes, they must have updated the promotion pop up or maybe there was a website issue earlier yesterday. It was just showing Breakin' B-Boy McCoy as the only promotion before.

Round Rock Fireworks cancelled tonight/postponed until July 16th!

As far as I know Round Rock express will still have their normal show.

Dell Diamond, Georgetown at San Gabriel Park, and Pflugerville are all doing fireworks tonight as well as the 3 or so in Austin....Actually, Georgetown had a day long festival that started at 11am, and Pflugervilles started abt. 4:30.
