PT Daycare Options? (Austin: daycares, home, neighborhoods)

We are relocating to Austin in about a year. I currently have a 4 year old who will be starting K when we move and we are TTC#2 right now. I work PT and will be working for the same company from home when we move. My hours are completely flexible, I just have to get in 25 hours/week. I was thinking of working 4-5 hours/day while DD is at school and #2 would need care for those hours.

We currently have our DD in a center 3 days/week as her preschool as that is what works best for us. Our other options would have been PT at an in-home daycare or possibly a nanny share with another family.

In checking out the areas we are most interested in for Austin (Eanes and some SW neighborhoods), I have been unable to track down many options for PT care. Are there not many in-home daycares in the Eanes area (I found a couple in Circle C on craigslist, which is another area we are interested in)? What about nanny sharing? Or a mothers helper/sitter?

What kind of cost would I be looking at? Our current daycare bill for 3 days runs us $184/week (DC burbs), which is pretty steep and I'm hoping NOT to have to pay that much when we get to Austin.

Any thoughts/advice/cost estimates?
