Default Need Help Deciding On A City To Move To In Austin. Help!

I am a single 48 year old Jewish lady, attractive moving to Austin, TX shortly with my 24 yr old son and want to move to a nice city, close to employment opportunities and he wants to attend college. What areas of Austin have any single Jewish men to meet possibly and is close to shopping, (food and clothes), libraries, and basically where you don't even have to leave the area for your needs? I currently work at home but want the opportunity to get a full time outside position but want to avoid a lot of driving.

I have a dog too.

Thanks

You would probably do well in the Far West section of town. I know the Jewish Community Center is located near the intersection of Hart Ln and Far West Blvd, and the local supermarket has a fairly large Kosher section where you can cruise for a good looking mentsch.

Far West is also on the University of Texas shuttle line.

Smile Zip Codes 78731, 78750 and 78759

The JCC is a good source of info, as would be the local synagogues such as Congregation Agudas Achim and others. My wife and I are considering a move to Austin and have talked with quite a few people regarding housing, Kosher foods, etc. The folks we've talked to are really nice and helpful.

Good luck!
