went to burial service there--
it is at Spicewood close to the lake
inside a gated subdivision with some very old graves
was there originally at town called Haynie--

It's the Haynie Flat Cemetery, now owned by Burnet County. There used to be a Haynie Flat Chapel adjacent and a small one room school that served the locals. That area was settled because there are spring waters near and travellers could easily cross the Pedernales River near there (the flat). The cemetery still conducts graveside services ...

I know--I was at one--just wondered since it was inside a gated suburban development if it was public or owned by the neighborhood HOA now
