Default Cool House Tour in Austin

Has anyone been to this green house tour? I wanted to go, but missed it.

What is your experience? Any thoughts/opinions?

Best Regards.

That looks like the house they just did for "This Old House Austin". It was a green project. No, but saw it on the news.

A co-worker of mine went on the tour last weekend, said it was pretty neat....however, they figure all the driving they did pretty much offset any enger savings from the houses

I am from San Antonio and enjoy going to the Austin Home Tours. The best house on the tour was on S. Third St. and then I liked the house on Delores. I didn't get to see all the homes but it is a good way to explore the city and see how the Austonian's live. Great town. Now I need to go buy a winning lottery ticket!
