Default Rain - again!!

We're having a good rain (complete with thunder!) here in P'ville. The A/C definitely needs a break! I dread the electric bill this month Anyone else getting some good rain?

Hutto: very light, light rain. Maybe enough where I don't have to water though so I'm not complaining too much. However, I will complain about the heat. Gah, it was so hot today...even the breeze felt like I was standing in an oven. I've never felt this kind of heat before. Ugh.

I'm 9 months pregnant - there is no escape from this heat. Which is why I've been so excited about rain. We are really regretting the decision to remove the A/C window unit (toddler wouldn't leave it alone).

We got some rain, but not at our house. We were in Round Rock during the downpour. Sure was fun. The hard rain, steady rain, lightning and the rainbow provided a welcomed break! Couldn't have asked for a better evening.

Don't you love that? You get the rain everywhere but your house.

I know. Austin appears to have a rain shield around it.

I have 34 cousins. About 89 percent of us have summer (Late June, July, August, Early Sept) birthdays. The family always jokes about this.

We always wonder, is it because it was a REALLY cold winter, or a REALLY hot summer.
