From what I read on his website, he started out making flavored vodka, but then changed over to this pure clean spirit. I don't sense any sweetness or aftertaste from it, and I've never really cared for gin or vodka martini's before, but this stuff impresses me. I enjoy sipping it straight.

Tito's is great, so is Dripping Springs and Savvy.

For you Bourbon aficionados, Garrison Brothers Distillery near Hye (west of Johnson City) has begun making a VERY fine corn whiskey.
Just drove out to Fredericksburg last week to pick up three bottles of their first main production. It's expensive ($75 for a 750ml bottle).

If it is anything like their "Pre-Release" production from earlier this year, it'll be a hit.

AMEN!!! "Ol' Tito's 80 Proof" was totally the first alcohol I ever got drunk off of back in high school. I love it and anyone of my friends who've tried it like how smooth it is.

PS -- Isn't it distilled 6 times???

Where can you find Tito's? I went to my "local" Twin Liquors & the kid running the register had never heard of it ...

You need to talk to his manager. Tito's is very well known locally. You can get it at Specs, and I'd assume at other Twin Liquors.

All the Twin Liquor stores in north Austin, Cedar Park, and Round Rock carry Tito's.

Maybe the that clerk was new on the job.

That's entirely possible ... the Twin in the HEB Plus shopping center in Kyle seems to have a high turnover rate.

If I remember correctly, there's a Specs in Southpark Meadows ... somewhere! I'll just have to google it or something ...

The Spec's up here all have it.

However, I do believe Tito's Distillery is very close to your neighborhood.

Maybe you could drop in for a tour & a free sample.
