Honestly I don't think you need to ask our opinion to make the decision of what home you should buy. The majority of the people posting only wish they were in your position to have between $700k-$1.1mil to buy a house and everyone would want one thing over another.

Some like RW because of closer location, others lake Davenport because of the proximity to lake and home size, Westlake hills for the views, Rob Roy for the community. You need to see homes in all neighborhoods to see what you like. I wouldn't say you should limit yourself to one neighborhood. You already have limited yourself to one zip code (78746) and my guess the southern portion of the zip code (Forest Trail elementary and Cedar Creak elementary- around lost creek) you have already decided you are not moving into. Find the perfect house, and you won't go wrong with the neighborhood. All those neighborhoods will be highly respected with whatever private school you send them too as well as Bridgepoint and Eanes elementary being GREAT!
