Looking for some info such as the ages of the residents (young families with kids or retired couples?) if you like living there, how is it being close to the school/sports complex, are the lights from that very bright? Any info on when the currently-gravel road next to the school going into Phase II will be paved?

Exactly! Thanks for your post. I was actually excited when I saw that I had some activity. And then I read your response.

But at least I searched the forums first (and rejuvenated a 3 year old post) rather than simply blind posting.

Hi, living in hidden springs ranch is peaceful for the most part. It's a small community with a range from retirement age to mostly 40 something's and up with young children. There is a mix between high school age kids and middle school on average I would say.
Any info that your looking for on the road you should visit the dsisd website. All layout and plans for the constructions you can find there.

As for living close to the school. I believe most residents enjoy it's proximity. Kids can walk to school. The lights are on and off at set times. The school is very considerate. Of course the lights are very bright. You can hear the speaker announcements and the band practice. I think it's kind of fun to hear the youth. Most noises are on and off within a reasonable hour.
There are good neighbors and bad neighbors every where. Here there are some stand up neighbors and they want a happy healthy community. I would not say we are a tight community, but friendliness is generally encouraged so feel free to wave.

Thanks Resident101. As fate would have it, we moved into our place in HSR2 about a month ago. So far, so good. Feel free to stop by and say hello anytime. Howdy, neighbor.
