I agree. Hipster are nothing like hippies, except for the BO.

Hippies love everyone and accept everyone. Hipsters accept noone and love themselves.

Yeah. Hipsters are NOT in any way hippies. Completely different lifestyles. I notice that a lot of people who fit the "Hipster" label today were the "emos" in high school. A few article publications has confirmed this suspicion. So we have the natural progression into Hipsterdom down.

Most hipsters were too young to be emos.
