I'll probably be in bed by 11:00. You could do that.

I have a rousing fun night planned with what netflix sent (ironman2) and a steak alfredo with mr and my two boys plus a few fireworks. Not very romantic but that was a few years ago...

Just on our block, there are two fair-sized parties that will allow the kiddos(none for us, thank you) to hang close to mom and dad without being underfoot. Then, mom and dad and kiddos can walk home safely. No vehicles involved with our nice weather predicted for tonight. DW won't likely make it until midnight...50/50 odds for me to make it.

Have fun and be safe, y'all!

Dinner and a movie which is kind of traditional for us. Then back to the house to watch the ball drop in Times Square.

We're not going further than Pflugerville. I even looked into going to one of our local neighborhood places.

bad movies, Pluckers take out, good bourbon.

Did the social thing the past few years and it ends up too silly with over-emotional drunken friends, bad service at understaffed bars/restaurants, scary driving conditions with all the DUI candidates, etc.

When we own a home, the Meat family will probably start throwing a more serious bash.

Stay home with some good beer, a few nice movies and not worry about getting a DUI or anything.

Then be in my nice warm bed with the dog, right after midnight...

Default Happy New Year!

We had a wonderful, quiet evening. Watched Frank Capra's, "You Can't Take it With You", ate too many snacks. Everyone here remembers what we did last night and we all "woke up" this morning. No one here had to "come to". It's all good.

Today it's a beautiful day to go for a walk in the park, (where we're headed).

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU KIND PEOPLE FIELDING QUESTIONS!!
