Getting back on topic, I think that poaching is a healthy method of cooking. Poached eggs, for example, are much healthier than fried or scrambled. I also like to poach salmon. It's a good way to preserve the flavor of the food without adding useless calories.

If Portland wants to poach Austin, I'm fine with it. Most of the time we're being broiled, fried, steamed or baked.

I just got back from Asheville last weekend and they have the "Keep Weird" stuff everywhere as well ... a local told me how they saw the same stuff in Austin when they visited and were surprised Austin retailers took the idea ...
