wxrman... A bike is not the same they cant possibly go any faster. Bike riders do need to be mindful of traffic though since they have a lot greater chance of death in the event of a crash with a car.
I know near Quinlan Park Road, you have to be in the left lane to turn into Steiner Ranch and you have to start slowing down as you go down the hill from Comanche Trail. Usually at that point I have people on my ar$e that are very annoying. Then I get into the left lane at the earliest point at which I can and I see those folks speeding by. I think it's just id!ots that don't realized where the various lights are. If you go 65 down 620 all the way to Quinlan, you are an accident waiting to happen - there are several accidents at that very intersection.

So my advice - put your favorite song on your I-pod, slow down, and chill out!

At one time you could drive 620 from I-35 all the way to 183 and hit maybe 3 lights total with little traffic.

And back to reality.
At one time we could drive on 620 from I-35 to 183 without a stop sign - and the intersection there (620 & 183) was just a 4-way stop.

I assume you are referring to the OP. I agree with you. However, I'd rather not see dump trucks hot-rodding around given the choice.

Well, because there are speed demons out there, you're right that anyone driving below the limit should drive to the right, and that pulling over and letting the speed demon go past (even if you're driving at the speed limit) and draw the cops is a good tactic.

However, you are clearly one of those who thinks that the speed limit doesn't exist in the left lane, and nothing could be further from the truth.

The "big fail" is the person who thinks that because they want to speed, the speed limit doesn't exist in every lane and that they are not the primary and initiating cause of the problem if someone is driving the speed limit in any lane and slowing them down.

That puts the blame on the person obeying the speed limit rather than the speeder, with the implication that it's the speeder who's doing the right thing and the person driving at the speed limit who's doing something wrong.
