Default needs to rent a house or duplex near anderson high

I been avoiding buying a house just because my mother in law's property taxes are up each yr wayyyy to much, however, i recently had a baby and on top of that my sister-in -laws son now lives with us and he will be going to Anderson High. I'm really interested in a 3 bedroom house, that would be perfect! help

Most non-apartment rentals are llisted on the local MLS website: www.austinhomesearch.com. I think Anderson is in the 78759 zip code, but a lot of the houses there feed to RRISD and Westwood HS, so you might have to look up adjoining zip codes or just query on NW Austin and use the school district filter.

Yes, Anderson is in the 78759 zip code. There are actually A LOT of townhouses and condos literally within a stone's throw of Anderson (I used to own one). It may be worth even driving around that area. A lot of people just put the sign out front and don't use a realtor, so no MLS. Check Craigslist too.

I agree with mm57553 I used to live in that area a few years ago and we found our place and looked at several others listed nowhere by simply driving around looking for signs.

True. But the school itself and the vast majority of rentals, townhomes, and duplexes are in the 78759 zip.
