Relocating To Austin - Entertainment Industry
Hi -
We're 95% planning on relocating to Austin within the next 6 months from Los Angeles for all the usual reasons: lower cost of living, better quality of living, better schools, etc.
I know Austin has a vibrant film/music/interactive community. I have 15+ years executive experience in the entertainment industry (mostly new media, film & music) and am wondering if anyone can recommend recruiters and/or good companies to reach out to. I've obviously been to Monster, Craig's List, etc. but am looking for outside-the-box options.
The relocation is purely for non-career reasons and although I don't need to find something right away, I would like to have some guidance as I'm sure I'll get antsy fairly quickly. Any insight it appreciated!
