I didn't see many bikes out there. The trails I hiked would be okay for it. I would check with the rangers first to make sure they are okay with it.

I don't think there's much danger of that place becoming too overcrowded. It's simply too inconvenient for most people. It's not close to anything else...which might save it from the "wilderness brothel" that Grand Canyon has become...

There is quite a bit of air pollution that comes in from the south from Mexico. A few years ago, Mexico was trying to make a deal with the US to pay for cleaning up their coal plants...sort of environmental blackmail .

Interesting. I hope the U.S. told them to wipe their own #*$!!!!!!
