I have to agree. It feels hot but not "that" hot.

We are so beating that record this week

I can't believe with all the technology in the world, we still can't afford to buy NOAA a caps lock key.

But seriously.. so we just went through the most brutal July ever? July is one of the most brutally hot months anyway, so we should all get a medal or something. Except I think it was really not that bad... the dry ground and air is likely the cause for the unusually high temperature readings. Not sure it felt as hot as other Julys...

This CA native is never going back. So it's hot here during the summer, so what. That's what AC and swimming pools are for.

Is it me or does this temperature chart seem like a total joke? Average highs in the 80s in August? Come on. Can anyone remember that ever actually happening?

You are reading it wrong. It says the Average between the high and low is in the 80's in August. The Average High is in the 90's.

Ah, I am reading the "average high" line, but I was looking at the next month over...Sept instead of August. I'm not sure that changes my statement much though! Highs in the 80s in September? I predict here and now it will be above 100 degrees for ACL this year!
