Default Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physican Recommendations

Hi,

We are new to the area of Bee Cave and I will be needing to find a general physician soon. I have reviewed city data's old posts for this, but of the ones seen most were recommendations for OB/GYN, pediatricians, or the doctors no longer take new patients, so thought I'd ask again in hopes of getting some fresh names.

Our insurance coverage is: Blue Shield/Blue Cross - Employer: University of Texas

Female is preferred; family practice or internal medicine (we do not have any young children so no need for a pediatrician); Nurse Practitioner is also fine; Areas to consider are Bee Cave, Lakeway, Oak Hill area, or anything within a 20 minute drive from Bee Cave.

Thanks in advance!

Hi there, I have had the same doctor here in Austin since I was 16 and I am now 34 years old. He is wonderful and I highly recommend him. His name is Darren E. Geyer. And you can find him at South Austin Family Practice. The phone number is 512-892-7076 Good luck to you, I have sent him a few select people in the past and they were all very pleased.
