Hi everyone,

I live in New York. My friend has asked me to swith to Ambit Energy. I read about the company profile and it is founded in Austin, TX. I am not sure if the cost will drop significantly. Is the service reliable? I dont want to take the risk of no electricity for a little saving. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I had a poor experience with Ambit Energy. I would not personally recommend their service.

[mod]off-topic/personal[/mod] the ONLY reason that ambit grew as fast as they did was because they purchased Commerce Energy. It wasn't because they went out and did everything on their own and collect customers. They bought another companies customers, and at a price that was much too high.

What Was Your experience? Ambit was set up to be the finest, most respected retail energy provider in America and they are. I have known the owners family since 1970.
