Good afternoon everyone
I am a single 32 year old black female who is very interested in dating interracially. Is it possible for someone like me to find in Austin or its surrounding areas an open-minded man who is interested in stepping outside of his comfort zones into the awesome and exciting world of interracial dating?

I dont see why not, this is a big city and there are a lot of guys out there. Try an internet dating site not craigslist or your nearest sports bar once football season starts.

I've seen many (relatively since there aren't many blacks in Austin period) white male/black female couples running around the streets of Austin. From what I've observed, they don't seem to attract an abnormal amount of attention. I also see the occasional black female/hispanic male as well, but that combo seems to be less common (at least in the areas that I frequent, this might be more common in East Austin?).

I think you'll find Texas normally doesn't have the racism you find in the northern states. There really isn't a stigma attached to interracial dating in most areas.

Why do folks say that there aren't many black people in Austin? This isn't Wasilla. I see plenty of black people everywhere.
