Default Murder-mystery dinner reccomendations

Greetings,

Does anyone have any advice on the best place to go for a murder mystery dinner in the area? Hubby wants that as a b'day gift. I found some places online, but none of them have reviews.

Thanks!

Sorry for the confusion. I am looking for someplace that someplace in which the audience has to solve the crime. I have never been to one, but from looking online this is how it is described. Sometimes you can pay a little extra so that a member of your party is actually involved in the crime. So it's like an interactive play in which the audience are told clues about the crime. Typically dinner is provided. However, I am fine if dinner is not provided.

The Cedar Park Steam Train does a couple of different ones. I haven't done it, but came across it looking at some of their other rides. I think that they serve dinner. I'm not sure of any restaurants that do it, but the train does.

I looked it up for you (Austin Steam Train). They've already done about 2 mysteries, but they have one remaining to do. It's called " A halloween who-done-it". They do serve food but I think you have to state your preference as to what you want when you call? Maybe not though. The mystery does require audience participation so I think you might want to check it out. It's not until October 29th though.

My family did one at a Bed and Breakfast in San Marcos, though it was over 10 years ago and I don't recall the name of the place.

Just wanted to update everyone. I went to the show hosted by The Dinner Detective last weekend. It was great! Very entertaining and the plot required audience participation. I highly recommend them.
