I'm new to the area. I used to Salsa dance lessons in Los Angeles.
I want to continue. I'm not really a beginner, but I wouldn't say I'm
good either.

I'm interested in ballroom lessons, including salsa, swing, etc. I'm looking
to become a competent dancer, not just memorize a fixed sequence.

Any suggestions?

TIA - Eric

Check out the link from Movin' Easy Dancewear as a guide to local studios. You can customize your search by category on the right hand side of the page. Movin' Easy is a reputable and established dance wear shop located just off Guadalupe in Austin, near the University of Texas. They might be a good source for additional referrals in the Austin area. In addition to this list, the shop often has ads posted at their store about upcoming events and lessons in Austin.
