Why is it when people tell you something is gross, they then tell you to try it? And why is it that many of us actually do try it? Well, it was gross.

Uchiko will be a stop when she is able to eat sushi again.

I went to Magnolia Cafe Sunday morning. Great pancakes as always, and the bacon that wasn't completely burnt was great as well. The service was pretty bad, though I think they were short a cook.

Now, before that we had a great dinner at one of our favorite places -- South Congress cafe. Mmmm venison meatloaf. My wife's pork chops and polenta were even better. During the week there is a 20% discount if you eat at the bar area... a really good deal.
Thanks for the idea of what to do with the ground venison in my freezer. Now to just find a worthwile recipe.
