Hi,

I'm fairly new to Austin and would like to visit Hill Country and Lake Travis over next two weekends. What is there? Where to park and look/walk around? I'm going with 3 and 4 years old kids.

Thanks

Check and see if the Volente Beach water park is still open. Here is their website Austin's Waterpark - Volente Beach Waterpark!. The park gets their water from Lake Travis. There is a section there for small children and/or you can go to the beach where they can play with the sand while you sit under an umbrella or lay on a hammock while you watch them.
