For an every-day store bought bottled salsa at home, Texas-Texas has some pretty good varieties. The Sanderson family makes it who are local to Austin and it's cheap and easy to find at places like HEB and Target.

I believe the real chunky stuff is not authentic. That stuff seemed to start with Pace and some of the grocery store mass market salsas. Chunky is for Pico de Gallo.
That has not been my experience, the better sauces are thick, but not chunky or watery.
