Sprouts for groceries
Central Market maybe?

Depends where you are in Austin as well. There used to be a "fast" food healthy shop on Burnet but for the life of me I can't seem to place the name.

There are tons of Vietnamese restaurants up north that serve the kind of food you're looking for. Try Sunflower, Le Soleil, Pho Hoang, Pho Saigon, etc.

I am completely uninterested in these kinds of restaurants.

You can get healthy food at Kerby Lane, but it is always like a freezer in there, and it takes forever to get the food. So we have stopped going. If you like shivering for 45 minutes then eating, it would be fine.

That works out great for you, because there are very few around!

Believe me, we like to eat the "good stuff" too...and there is a plethora of that around Austin - bbq, Mexican, burgers, fried inventions, donuts, cupcakes, etc. But better long term for these things to be enjoyed in moderation...and helps if there are some convenient healthy alternatives around.

An example - Austin Java actually has some very healthy and delicious options...

Also just thought of Bouldin Creek Cafe, on South First. It's exclusively vegetarian, but definitely healthy food.
