Default State government employee pay dates?

I asked this before but only got one answer...are state employees paid twice a month or only once? Schedules show two pay dates 1st and 15th but doesn't clarify if this only applies to certain employees (like hourly versus salary) TIA!

I work for the state (UT) and we are paid on the first of the month. I don't know for certain about other state employees but I think it is the same.

Once a month. On the first of each month.

Generally all agencies are on the 1st of each month....HOWEVER, there may be exceptions, such as University of Texas Medical Branch Correctional Managed Care (medical/mental health inside the prison system) which is paid on the 1st and the 15th.
