I found online information about it and it looks like a really outstanding and friendly church for a liberal person like myself.

Have any of you been there and can you share your experiences please!?

Thanks!

I've heard good things about it...you should try it. Its hard to judge a church from someone elses experience.
For what its worth though, I have a gay friend that used to live in Austin...he really loved Gateway Community Church.

I heard from another person that Gateway community church was good and sort of art focused. So, what I did was I just checked their online webpage and they also seem to be group and bible focused. They are contemporary and social as they believe in group work but they seem strict concerning living by the scripture. (I lead a pretty conservative life style besides being gay, I am not too sure what others there might think of that)!
So I might attend there if all the other churches do not work out, as I like the social component to their ways. They also have a NOON worship which is really helpful for me.

So far Riverbend looks the best. Their webpage is awesome.

My daughter attends preschool at Riverbend. It seems like a very welcoming place to attend church services (we currently do not!).
