Interesting to hear. I know there was the one small-ish place in RR by the train tracks at 620 & 35 that we went to a couple of times after I moved here before it closed. Can't say I went often, but that was before I had kids. I hate to keep focusing on it, but price is the big thing. Any idea what the charge was in Pflugerville? Many/most putt-putt places are $8+ now... way too much to make it an often thing. I know it was years ago, but the ones we lived next to were $2, $3... cheap enough to go once a week for a father/son, get a soda/ice cream, etc. If one was able to keep the price at $5 or below now, I'd think it could succeed. Again... I can't imagine the cost to run one would be too much - versus a bowling alley where the costs of electricity and machine maintenance can be quite high (leading to the super high prices now).

Great ideas and input! Much appreciated! I understand the pain of going bowling and spending a small fortune! I have 5 kids and just a night of bowling, some cheese fries and sodas we easily spend $200+! I went to a Toros basketball game on Sunday with all the kids and we spent nearly $300. It hurts to spend that much on one night of entertainment. Maybe I can make it a really small bowling alley and also have the mini golf too that way I can keep the costs low. I just want SOMETHING fun to do here. I try not to go into round rock or pflugerville as much as I can. I would love a little karaoke joint here too! I can dream. . .

I would totally play putt putt golf if there was one here and I think my daughter would love it too. Bowling would be nice, but you'd be competing with Mel's in Georgetown.
