Default Any reports from the Austin City Limits Festival?

Today, Saturday Sept. 16, is day 2 of the 3-day huge music festival. Curious if there's anyone on this forum who is participating, and how it's going.

The weather is the opposite problem of last year in some ways. Last year, Hurricane Rita was a couple hundred miles to the west, pulling hot dry air in from the desert with a record high of 108 on the last day of the fest "but it was a dry heat" as they say.... heat index probably around 100.

This year the dewpoint is in the mid-70s (ugh) with highs in the 90s and a heat index closer to 105! Hard to say which is better, probably depends on cloud cover and wind.

Oh, and then there's the music.

(I am such a weather dork, it's just pathetic....)

LOL, I very much appreciate the link, but something went wrong with my ability to use sound on my laptop and I've simply gone without it for about 4 months. A friend installed windows again on my system and says that the sound works fine on that installation, and all I have to do is migrate my data and programs or something like that. As you can tell from my "or something like that" remark, I'm not likely to do anything about it within the next century.

But thanks! Hopefully others will take advantage of that link.
