My wife and her friends did this last year. It was basically a short women-only run with a half dozen sponsor booths at the start finish line. Biggest problem last year was that the "obstacles" on the course, which were really simplistic and not really challenging, got backed up with lines and a lot of people end up just walking or jogging around them. Also, it was a hot day and there wasn't anywhere near enough water on the course. Parking was a hassle if you didn't get there early (park at the rodeo, take a shuttle to the park). Overall it was a fee for a short run and a t-shirt.

Actually there wasn't a t-shirt unless you bought it. You got a pair of socks.
