This might be a bit farther north than you're looking for... but we like the Monument Cafe in Georgetown. They have really good basic stuff like eggs, hash browns, bacon, etc. They make their own english muffins and cinnamon rolls (drool!). I don't know what they do to their eggs, but they are the freshest tasting and best we've ever had. And we like us some breakfast.

Again, recommendation from a mom in my playgroup, but she just went there the other day and loved it. It's been listed with good reviews in the Austin Chronicle as well.

Tried it this morning, my wife likes the hash browns. The egg benedict was not so hot, the portions were real small. Tried grits though, whats the big deal about grits, its just like Maltomeal. The parking lot had a lot of cars, in fact cars were parked in the street. Service was good.
