Is there a good online reference that lists everything you need if you are starting an internet based business in Round Rock as far as licenses go?

Also, does anyone have a good business based CPA they recommend in the Round Rock/Georgetown/Cedar Park area?

Thanks in advance.

Here, let me Google that for you...

From:
City of Round Rock - FAQ

Does the City of Round Rock require a business license?
No, the City of Round Rock does not require a business license. Individuals should contact the Planning Department to make sure their business is in the correct zoning district and the Building Inspection Division if they are going into an existing building.

For state and county business licenses, contact the State Comptrollers Office (1-800-252-1381) and the County Court House for DBA (doing business as) (512-930-4300).

What type of business you are starting?

You might want to form Texas LLC for tax and liability reason. Depending on the business, you might have to collect Texas use tax.

Good luck with your new biz.

Delaware LLC is a little bit cheaper, I think ($250/yr) though you also need a DE registered agent.
