Check out Bear Creek Stables in Manchaca. I know they used to take 7 year olds (my daughter was one of them), Linda Dovers there is highly safety-conscious. They used to offer trail rides but I'm not sure how low the age limit is there.

Does your child have riding experience?

Hyatt Lost Pines may also do hourly rates. It is a very insurance-heavy endeavor, so there probably aren't that many places that do it.....

Yay! Finally, a place that will take just two people! Most places want 3 or more only.
