Default what sort of chances woudl i have of getting a job and living well in austin?

i'm almost 22, and plan to graduate college this year. ( psych and spanish major ), i want to move to austin, and find some work. i think that i might actually like to be a plumber. would it be hard to find work as a plumber being a woman in austin? also is it hard to find work in general in austin? i dont wnat to move 2000 miles down south and be poor and come crying back home to my parents. lol

There's actually a all-female remodeling company in austin. You may want to try and find them and see if they'd want a plumber.

WHen I had a crew in to do some remodeling, the foreman was a woman. She's the one that told me about the all-female company. She went to work there after finishing our job. I can't remember the name though.

You should have no problem finding a job here. Our unemployment rate is one of the lowest in Texas. If you want to work, there is a job. Also, since it is more expensive to live here, jobs pay more. Fast food joints pay $9.50!!!!
