We closed on a home late evening yesterday and that didnt give us time to pick up the final settlement statement and drop by the tax appraisal office to contest the 2012 Tax appraisal to Williamson county. We paid lower than what the house is appraised for and are wondering what our options are considering the deadline to contest expired yesterday. Do we have any at all because in the official protest form it does list that under special circumstances the deadline can be extended.

It also says you have within 30 days of receiving your assessment. If you just closed yesterday, you should have 30 days.
