On the "Expanded Judgmental Austin Map," everything to the right of the area shown in the first post simply reads "Irrelevant People."

I guess N and NW Austin doesn't exist... I would assume my area would be marked Breeders.

Default Love it.

We live right between rich hippies and lesbian furniture. They pretty much nailed it. The lesbian furniture area is probably the vintage furniture shops on Northloop—Room Service, etc. What cracked me up is that the evening I saw this map, my wife and I had been at our friends' house earlier in the day—who happen to be a lesbian couple—and we were remarking once again during our visit how much we love all of their cool vintage mid century furniture and decor. Likewise, the rich hippies would be the folks in Hyde Park. We walk through there all the time, enjoying the political/social statements on the bumper stickers, sometimes smellling a mix of home-cooked soup and pot on cool evenings when the windows are open, and dropping our jaws when we check out real estate flyers that reveal that we're walking among homes that start around $600K for a 2/1 fixer-upper. We used to live near Fiesta! and before that, Scary HEB, so we know what that's all about also. So yeah, I don't think it's judgemental, it's just kinda where people and interests tend to generally gravitate for one reason or another and I think it's very interesting, funny, and has enough truth in it for me to give it a thumbs up.

That map is dead on the money! I live somewhere around "COMFY FATTY" avenue, and "POVERTY" lane.

Tell me about it - Brushy Creek must be too bland to get classified.
