Default Public running tracks

Anyone know of any public running tracks in the NW area of Austin? I'd like to switch up from running on pavement for a while... Are the local high school stadiums (Westwood and McNeil) open to the public? I took a swing by Cedar Park HS but didn't see any gates open...

Pretty sure I saw someone running the track at Vista Ridge HS on Sunday morning...not sure how they got in. Looks like there are two tracks on that campus(shared by Henry MS).

The Williamson County Regional Park on Sam Bass about a mile North of 1431 has a nice public running track that is even lighted most of the time I think.

Thanks for the ideas. There's quite a few middle schools within easy driving distance and Canyon Vista isn't too far when I cut through the Balcones neighborhood.

When I first came here I wondered the same thing. The big high school stadiums around here don't seem to be open to the public. The middle schools usually are, but I usually go to Williamson County park even though it's a little farther, since I don't have to compete with after school activities (in season).
