Default Wal-Mart location help...

Sorry, some areas of Austin I'm not too familiar with. Someone wants me to meet them at a Wal-Mart in North Austin off 183. (near Rundberg?). Where is this Wal-Mart located exactly and what is the nearest cross-street?

I know there is a Sam's Club off of 360/183 - but unsure of a Wal-Mart?

TIA!

There is one by the intersection of 183 and 45 (which is also called Ranch Road). It's next to a Lowe's. The parking lot has a million grackles.

They mean the one at the address below. I would meet the person during the day if you're unfamiliar with that area.

Walmart Supercenter

1030 Norwood Park Blvd

Austin, TX 78753

Yes, agreed that the Norwood address is the one you want.

For future reference, if you Google "Walmart store locator," it pulls up a map with the local locations plotted, and you can zoom in on it, ask for directions, etc.

Also agreed, go during daylight hours.

Good luck!

Yep, I think it is the Norwood location. I know where it's at, since I've been to the Goodwill across the street from it. I guess I got confused with the 183 part, altho the Rundberg exit sort of makes sense.

Thanks for the help!

It's that bad of an area at night? Yikes...

If you are heading north on 35 to get there, I would exit before Rundberg as the entrance to the road that leads to Walmart is almost immediately following the exit ramp. I think you would have to take the 183 South/St. Johns exit and pass through a few lights
