Default MCC Church Austin!

My Church Tour continues !!!

I went on a Saturday and MCC is such a cute church. It looks like a hershy kiss on the outside and on the inside it is meticulously clean and contemporary! Well the pastors? were extremely welcoming and nice. I was also greeted by three other very friendly members.

The band was off the hook. Awesome Sheryl Crow meets The Scorpions-esque type renditions of Christian rock favorites. Great bass player too.

The sermon was short on saturday but very positive and uplifting and too the point. The communion was also very uplifting and nice.

From what I heard is that on Saturdays it is mostly a sing along to Christian rock favorites. And the church sure did sing along.

Not many people. I'd say there were maybe 30-40 people at the very most.

Afterwards there was a meet and greet with pizza and snacks.

So much fun and a colorful and peaceful experience.

I suggest you check out MCC Church even if you are NOT gay. Check it out if you are progressive or lean more to the liberal side because this church is super neat.
