olman889, try looking at Taylor or Elgin or Coupland areas for a bit of land to raise livestock. There still some decent prices for 5-10 acre plots with homes on them or build your own.

It's probably pretty good for raising a few animals, but Taylor, Elgin and Coupland are not growing like Buda is, so be careful of where you choose because you may have neighbors peeking over your fence before too long.  |

They are growing also, just not as rapidly. Bastrop is growing extremely fast though. |
