I have family coming into town Christmas week but having a hard time finding a 'list' of restaurants for Christmas Day lunch options...is it too early to start looking? Traditional turkey dinner works, Chinese/Indian can wait until the next day...any thoughts??

The Chronicle usually publishes a list of the "go to" spots, much like their Thanksgiving list. Should be out next week or two.

Call Threadgill's. I believe they're still open 365 days a year. We used to go there for breakfast if Christmas fell on a weekday. Also, call Hyde Park Bar and Grill. Iirc, they've served meals on Christmas day in the past.
