Of Course I was reading the comments under the article which made me remember something in our little Hutto Business Update that said they did get the LCRA to minimize the size of the lines until they get out of town. I know if I lived in Emory Farms I would not want giant metal lines running over my house. Emory Farms is probably the most expensive neighborhood in Hutto right now. And I know Hutto isn't the only town infuriated by this plan. I know reps from Salado were at many of the meetings as well. I think they need to send a new team down to take another look at all these towns East of 35 and actually see the growth that's occurred since they first did the land survey.

Where are they going to run the power lines in Hutto? I'm asking because love roses has done such a good job of selling it we are looking at the area now. I'd hate to purchase a home without knowing there are going to be huge power lines running next to the house. Thanks for any information.

Clear Springs-to-Hutto project

Scroll down on that page..Route Maps is on the right and you want to see the "northern section" route. It's going to do more than just pass through though..Hutto is getting a switching station so it will go into Hutto and then across Hutto to the switching station.

Emory Farms, Hutto Parke and probably the neighborhood across from Hutto Parke back off of 1660. I still like Hutto, but this power line push is one thing I DO hate, but that's through no fault of any resident here. We're still fighting, but I have zero respect for any of the State Agencies that are just stepping all over us. But not only are they causing us a problem, it's every town up the entire project. There are places in Hutto that won't have to deal with having the lines through anything, but most of those will be South of 79.

I emailed the Hutto Citizen's Group so hopefully I get a reply soon. They have a website so all you haveto do is enter Hutto Citizens Group and it will pull up the page. It didn't have anything very recent, but did have a few of the route maps.

Of course not Leander to Downtown has that. I know that we want it badly here though!

There's been nothing circulating in Pflugerville about wanting a train.
We had cap metro years ago and dropped them.

We got 130 and 45 tri-secting this town now so I guess everyone is happy.
