I sometimes look at new sales permit info for Austin and noticed this a listing a week ago for Trader Joe's #454 with a 78759 zip code. I can't find any other info on it but perhaps someone here knows where it might be going?

Well, that's not Rollingwood Great Hills would be 'great' for them. OR, if WF is crazy enough to pull out of Gateway, TJ's should slip right in. Intereesting...

Looks legit. That location makes sense too, although the parking is going to be a madhouse there... but that would perfectly replicate the TJs experience in most other places.

I was thinking of that location; but the rents would be nuts. And the traffic in that parking lot doesn't need to get any crazier...BUT what a great tie-in with W-S, Newk's, Talbot's, Sephora. TJ's would give the guys another reason to go 'girl watching' at lunch!

Unless that location was a Saks 'boutique', I would think the unit a bit oversized for TJ's.

This doesn't suprise me at all. It's almost as if Trader Joe's seeks out places with little tiny parking lots. People will be parking across the street in the main Arboretum parking lot or over in the parking garage by the Cheesecake Factory if needed, but they won't care. It will do great in that location.

It was 52,000 sq ft so maybe TJ is only taking part of it?
