Folks, (that's right) we now have two legislative dramas that may unfold in the Texas Republican legislature as another rural lawmaker, State Representative Lois Kolkhorst, (R) Brenham, wants to sponsor House Bill 1177 which would deny municipalities the ability to force developers to consider existing trees in their site development plans.

In other press releases, the lawmaker does not make mention of her home district, but who wants to guess there may be such a concern for her second (I mean, first) home in Austin?

My friends (especially Republicans), what in the world is going on in the state party to target Austin so specifically? Please tell us how to stop the madness!
