run for city council on a platform of

1) reversing the bag ban
2) no rail
3) protecting the environment from sprawl
4) increasing density downtown without high rises.
5) fixing the traffic problem by... ?
6) reversing the bond package
7) stopping the 14m of spending on affordable housing

I have to say that I love the bag ban! Without the law, we wouldn't have made the switch to use reusable bags consistently, now we have and we love it. Less waste, fewer bags to carry, and I support CoA goal of going to zero waste! We had a commercial curbside composting service for a year and loved it, I'm ready for City composting too.

Well it's really not a bag ban because plastic bags are still plentiful in Austin.
It's more like a "free plastic bag ban"

A city council member can't change or reverse AISD bonds. But the other items, who knows? Probably will be some traction with some of those in certain districts.

Well if you look at the numbers, a mere 19,000 people made the decision for you on those bond issues.
Austin has a population of 1.8 million.
